12.05.2014 - Easter photo
This is my Easter photo. In the middle of this picture you can see a big Easter lamb which is simply a cake (It was very tasty;). Next to the lamb there are two porcelain bunnies with waxy eggs -one green and the other one yellow. At the bottom we can see hay. In the background there is my green blanket with colourful flowers on the sides.

In this photo I can see an Easter Bunny on very big egg and green leaves. The background is white and clear. I think this photo isn't terribly interesting, but it is very elegant and nice.

This is an Easter photo. In the photo you can see some traditional symbols of Polish Easter.
In the foreground there are three chocolate rabbits on a plate. The plate is with two rabbits in grass and flowers.
In the background there is a flower pot with *watercress*. In it there are three small Easter chicks.
Both, the plate and the flower pot are on a table with a white table cloth and a lace serviette.
I think this photo is awesome.

In the picture I can see a plate with Easter Eggs and the Easter bunny in the middle. On the top of the picture there is a yellow candle glowing. Everything is lying on a white table cloth. Each Easter egg has a different Kashubian pattern. My favorite Easter Egg is lying in the front of the picture on the right. It’s white with two colorful turkeys standing next to a fancy plant. I chose this picture because I associate Easter with decorated table full of Easter dishes.

12.11.2013 Kot w butach
25th of October the official welcome of the 1st graders took place in our school. The main organisers were the 3rd graders. Everything was carefully prepared. The whole event took place in a small school gym.
For new students there were waiting four stalls. Each of them was a different challenge. The first one was "Subway", where the most disgusting food was served. The second step was "starbucks", where the 1st graders had to drink beverages that were made of tomato sauce, oil, tabasco and many other ingredients. The next stall was about fighting and checking your judo skills with our judo master Alan. And last but not least, the SAG hairdresser's. Girls made up everyone who wasn't scared in different but very original way.
At each stall you got a stamp which was a proof that you were brave enough to go through the challenge. For all of us it was a lovely time. The games integrated all students and were a great opportunity to make new friends.
I hope all 1st graders feel that they belong at SAG now. We all had fun and personaly, I loved this event.

7.10.2013 Cars

http://superauto24.se.pl/auto/renault-jest-w-polsce-juz-105-lat_183145.html
For more than two centuries people have driven cars. This way of transport has become inseparable from our lives. But why are we so dependant on cars? What are their benefits and drawbacks?
At the beginning, there were very few cars, as they were expensive and not many people could afford them. However, since the invention of the motor engine in 1885, the number of cars have grown significantly and now they have become a real problem.
First of all, the fumes emitted from the cars are not only harmful to people's health, but they also destroy the walls of old buildings more dramatically than people could imagine. Hence, I am convinced that banning cars from old towns and city centres is the right solution.
On the other hand, I am aware that there are people who value their own comfort more than the condition of the old buildings and they disagree to ban the cars from the city centres. They always argue that cars were invented to make life easier and it should stay this way. Nevertheless, for me, their arguments are not convincing enough.
All in all, we should not be selfish in such delicate and significant matters as our cultural heritage and environmental pollution.

24.09.2013 Lifeboat

http://dir.coolclips.com/Travel/Transportation/Maritime/Rowboats/life_boat_vc009455.html
A few days ago we were supposed to bring 3 untypical items to our English lesson, which no one would expect us to take to school. Everyone brought something different. I took a blue feather, a Disney world card and a plaster. During the lesson, after we were seated in a circle the teacher gave us some cards with our new identity - our job, age and sex. I, for example, became a 60-year-old female doctor .
We were explained that we were all on a ship which had exploded and that there was just one spare lifeboat which gave room only for 4 people. Everyone had to explain why they should be saved and how their professional skills and their objects could be useful.
Then we took a vote. When voting was over, 4 participants who had the best items and the best jobs were selected. Those who were chosen could go in the lifeboat to an uninhabited island and try to survive with the gadgets they had.
In my opinion, it was a great exercise because all the students could be creative and use their imagination. Moreover, we also exercised vocabulary and spelling. It was a fun activity.
